I am John Hinnant and along with my wife Jamie, we are excited to launch our new real estate firm. I first owned commercial real estate in 2000, before I turned 30 years old, I've been involved in real estate since 2004 starting as a real estate appraiser.  After a few years in Economic Development and Downtown Revitalization, I began my commercial real estate career in 2013. Shortly thereafter, I began residential appraising again to keep my skills sharp. I'm often referred difficult assignments, high value homes and challenging properties because of my attention to detail.

I have a passion for understanding value on the elements of a property that contribute to value. I still offer appraisal services. I work with attorneys, estates, families and with land-use issues. I've served as an expert witness and I'm happy to discuss your challenges.

Jamie brings a background of finance and accounting. She also has great understanding of interior design and landscaping.

Together, we have two adult children we are proud of, and our home is protected by a Aussie Doodle (Bubz) and a house cat (Ozzie). John enjoys walking Buz through downtown and Jamie loves to work in the yard and cooking. We entertain our family and friends for the holidays with a massive spread of home cooked meals. We enjoy visits to the Caribbean and the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. We attend Northside Church in Wilmington, NC.

Why did we call it Living Third Real Estate? Because as Christians we put God 1st, family/community 2nd and ourselves 3rd. This transition was not accidental, He made this happen.
